Worship Services: We have three main worship services each week at Central; Sundays at 10:30am & 6:00pm, and Wednesdays at 6:15pm. Each service is distinctly different with different sermons and music. We encourage you to participate in all three.

Wednesday Night Supper: Join with us for a time of fellowship around the supper table on Wednesdays from 5:00-6:15pm in the Christian Activity Center. Our cooks are great and the meal is inexpensive. Reservations are required. Please use the sign-up sheet in the lobby or call the office by Monday at noon. Meal costs are listed on the sign-up sheet and the menu is listed in the Sunday bulletin.

Happy Hearts Ministry: Are you 55 or older? We have a great ministry for you to plug into! They meet monthly (usually the fourth Tuesday) at 11:30am for a covered-dish luncheon followed by a special program. Most months they will also go on a day trip to a local place of interest. Once a year this group will try to take a longer trip to some exciting destination. Some previous trips have been to Nashville, Savannah, Branson and Fall Leaf Tour in the North Georgia mountains and the Pennsylvania Amish Country.

Preschool Extended Session: This is the ministry that cares for our little ones (infants-age 3) who aren't old enough yet to go to Children's Church during the Sunday morning worship service. They are located downstairs in the Preschool area.

Church Softball Team: We have a co-ed softball team that plays on Monday evenings at Pinehurst Field in Sanford. They would love to have you join the team or just come out to watch the game and cheer them on. Specific game times are usually listed in the Sunday bulletin.

Youth Student Ministry Night: Wednesdays from 6:15-7:30pm for teens in grades 7-12. This is the main connecting event of the week for our youth ministry. It is our goal that through fun activities and impactful Bible studies our youth will connect with God and draw closer to Him, be encouraged by other Christian young people and be challenged to reach out to others teens who don't know God.

Bible Study Program: Meets Sundays at 9:15am in a variety of locations around the church campus. We have classes for all ages. Please come by the Connection Desk in the lobby area on Sundays to get more information about the classes offered and their locations.

Children's Church: This is a full-service hour during the 10:30am worship service, all children (Age 4-Grade 2) may be checked in at 10:15am upstairs in the 4th grade room (#241) for Children's Church. They may be picked up when the morning service is finished.

Awana: Sundays from 5:30-7:00pm for children age 2-grade 6. This is an exceptional ministry that teaches kids to know, love and serve God using Scripture memory activities, age-appropriate lessons, awesome games and other exciting special events throughout the year.

Children's Choirs: Our five age-graded choirs meet Wednesdays from 6:15-7:30pm. This is THE Wednesday night place to be for your kids (age 3 -grade 6). They'll have a blast at the BIG Apple Picture adventure with great music and fun games and activities. Not only will they learn about music, but, even more importantly, they will learn about how much God loves them and how they can serve Him and worship Him through music.

Financial Peace University: Starting February 1st at 6:00pm in the Chapel area. FPU is a thirteen week course put out by nationally known financial advisor, Dave Ramsey. Through video and group discussion you will learn practical and common-sense steps to establishing an emergency fund, developing a budget, getting out of debt and staying out, obtaining the proper types of insurance, investing and funding your retirement and the importance of giving to God and helping others.

Greeter Ministry: How would you like to be the "friendly face" of Central to our guests and be one of the first to greet them at the door on Sundays?

Usher Ministry: Our ushers do more than just collect the offering on Sundays. They play an important role in greeting people as they enter the worship center, handing out the bulletins, making our guests feel welcome and comfortable and assisting folks with special needs before during and after the services.

Voices of Praise Choir: This is our adult choir which sings most Sunday mornings in the 10:30am worship service. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 7:30-8:45pm in the choir room. This is a non-auditioned choir that is open to all Christians who have a desire to serve God through music and help to lead the church in singing His praises. Attitude, commitment and heart matter more to us than talent, however, being able to at least "carry a tune" is necessary.

Sunday Praise Team(s): This auditioned musical group is made up of singers and players who assist the Minister of Music in leading the musical portion of our Sunday 10:30am worship service. Players must be proficient at reading music and chord charts. Singers should be proficient at reading their vocal part and also be able to harmonize by ear when only the lyrics/chords are available. Rehearsals are generally Sundays at 8:30am & 7:00pm. We are open to adding additional praise teams if there are enough musicians interested.

Special Music: We use special vocal and instrumental solos, duets and groups at various times during our Sunday 10:30am & 6:00pm worship services. We aren't looking for "prima donnas", but rather singers and instrumentalists who do have some skill, but even more have a humble, servant's heart.

Youth Praise Team: This is a new ministry that is in the process of getting started. We currently have a small band made up of teens (and a couple of slightly older "non-teens") and are looking to add a couple more players and several singers.

Mission Trips: We offer a variety of Mission Trips throughout the year, both international and here in the US. The cost of these trips varies depending on the destination and type of trip. The majority of our trips are handled through a ministry called Beautiful Feet International.
