David Thomas
Family & Roots
My wife is Jackie (Farr) Thomas. We met as teenagers and became great friends while I was in high school. I realized I wanted to be more than just friends one day at an orchestra rehearsal here at Central Baptist Church, so I asked her father if we could begin dating. We were married a few years later on December 13, 1986. We have two awesome children; Jared, born in 1988 and Amy, born in 1991. Jared is into playing the piano, listening to music, art and video games while Amy is into softball, rollerblading, the outdoors and her friends.
High School: Altamonte Christian School (graduated in 1983)
Testimony & Calling
I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior on January 6, 1981 at an assembly service at my high school. I committed my life to full-time christian ministry on July 8, 1981 at a youth revival at Central Baptist Church. I was licensed to the Gospel Ministry on October 17,1984 by Central Baptist Church.
